oh man I saw that post about “New York Man” and his bees with the Elementary screencap

and I just thought I’d love a fic where some villain decides to hit Holmes where his geeky heart hurts by destroying his hives and driving all his bees away

and Holmes is super sad and puts the villain away with a vengeance and then is super sad some more

but then Watson gets woken up by THE MOST HORRENDOUS BUZZING NIGHTMARE outside her bedroom window

THE BEES CAME BACK HOME :D

AND ARE NOW NESTING RIGHT OUTSIDE HER WINDOW D:

WHICH IS SORT OF HORRIFYING but Holmes is so fucking pleased she doesn’t have the heart to be like “OH GOD SO MANY BEES SO NEAR WHERE I SLEEP”

also Holmes starts sitting in her room to watch them and they have cosy evening chats to the thrum of HUNDREDS OF NEARBY BEES
